Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income

Mr. CAI Shaojun is the Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income of Value Partners.

Mr. CAI has over 18 years of experience in the asset management industry.  Prior to joining Value Partners, he worked at E Fund Management (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. from 2017 to May 2026 and previously served as Head of Global Fixed Income Research and Principal Portfolio Manager. The public bond funds he managed have received the Overseas Golden Bull Fund Award three times, along with multiple accolades from other leading industry institutions.

Prior to joining E Fund, Mr. CAI worked as a global credit analyst at Harvest Global Investments and as a director in credit ratings at Fitch Ratings (Hong Kong). Earlier in his career, from 2011 to 2015, he was based in London as a bond analyst at Vanguard Group, where he focused on European financial sector credit research and Yankee bond investments.

Mr. CAI holds a Master of Science degree with distinction from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Xiamen University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
