Mr. LUO Jing is an Investment Director of Value Partners.
Mr. LUO is a member of the Value Partners Research and Portfolio Management Team. Started his career in 2005, he is an experienced investment expert in the China market. Mr. LUO joined Value Partners in June 2017 as Fund Manager and re-positioned as Senior Fund Manager after probation. He was promoted to his current role in January 2023.
Prior to joining Value Partners, he was most recently an Associate Director of HSBC Global Asset Management (HK), focusing on China investments. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager of Bosera Asset Management focusing on A-share mandates for institutional clients, including pension funds and insurance firms. Earlier, he was an Executive Director at the research department of China International Capital Corporation (“CICC”) covering China’s banking sector in both A- and H-share markets. He also had stints with Guotai Junan International and First Shanghai Securities as an analysts.
Mr. LUO is among the top 3 banking analysts ranked by the New Fortune magazine during 2008-2012. During the same period, his team at CICC was also named by Asiamoney as Asia’s best China banking coverage team.
Mr. LUO graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics from Sun Yat-Sen University in China and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China. He is a CFA charterholder.
