Mr. LUO Jing is an Investment Director of Value Partners, and a member of the Value Partners Research and Portfolio Management Team. He joined Value Partners in June 2017 with 18 years of experience in research and investment management in China market.
Prior to joining Value Partners, Mr. LUO was most recently an Associate Director of HSBC Global Asset management (HK) focusing on China investments. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager of Bosera Asset Management focusing on A-share mandates for institutional clients including pension funds and insurance firms. Earlier, he was an Executive Director at the research department of China International Capital Corporation (“CICC”) covering China’s banking sector in both A- and H-share markets. He also had stints with Guotai Junan International and First Shanghai Securities as analysts.
Mr. LUO was among the top 3 banking analysts ranked by the New Fortune magazine during 2008-2012. During the same period, his team at CICC was also named by Asiamoney as Asia’s best China banking coverage team.
Mr. LUO graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University in China with a Master’s degree in Economics and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts. He is a CFA charterholder.
