Mr. Chuen Yan LEUNG is a senior member of Value Partners Private Equity Limited and leads the effort in developing the firm’s healthcare private equity franchise.

Mr. Leung joined Value Partners in June 2023 as a Partner in Healthcare Investment. He is responsible for healthcare private equity and venture capital investment. He is a healthcare specialist with deep technical knowledge and top pedigree spanning the whole ecosystem from academia, start-up, to investment firms.

Prior to joining Value Partners, he was the Vice President at EQT Group, where he covered late-stage private equity transactions in the Greater China region for the EQT Global healthcare sector and industrial technology sector team. Before that, he joined Aeneas Capital as Vice President and was responsible for driving the sourcing and execution of a US$90m biotechnology incubation initiative between Aeneas Capital, A*STAR Singapore, and Aptorum Group.

Mr. Leung is highly active in promoting Hong Kong’s Life Science ecosystem. He is a Vice President of the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization (HKBIO), organizers of the BIOHK exhibition and conferences.

Mr. Leung holds a Doctor’s degree in Stem Cells and Developmental Biology from University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College.
